| History | Pre-Great Fire. The City's attempt at a Renaissance (1628-31) building. The outside walls appear Tudor , but with Classic Porch and trimmings. the interior is similarly hybrid with classical columns supporting Renaissance arches but with Tudor clerestory. The organ was played on by Handel and Purcell. | ||||||
